This week we are talking rings – Love Rings, C-Rings, Penis Rings, Cock Rings – whatever you choose to call yours.
Love Rings (as we like to call them) are intended to help maintain an erection. By wearing them at the base of the penis they force the blood to stay in the penis and in turn help the penis stay hard. Love Rings can certainly help partners who struggle to keep their erections for longer periods of time. They are available in differing materials from glass to stainless steel but our favourite and most popular Love Rings are made from flexible silicone.
Love Rings are also a great way to spice up a relationship and enhance lovemaking for both partners. The Dorcel Vibrating Love Ring not only vibrates, bringing sensory pleasure to both parties, but it also has an extended clitoral stimulator. Given that 78% of women struggle to achieve orgasm without some form of clitoral stimulation this toy provides targeted vibrations to the clitoral area helping both partners achieve sexual satisfaction.
It’s always a good idea to use a waterbased lubricant when putting on a Love Ring as it will help lubricate the journey and make it easier to roll down the penis. It’s also a good idea to apply some lube to the clitoral stimulator or directly to your clitoris to help reduce friction in this area too.
There are a few warning labels when using a Love Ring:
1 – Not too tight – Whilst the ring should be snug around the base of the penis it shouldn’t cause your partner serious discomfort or pain. If this is happening then cease use.
2 – There is a time limit – Love rings should not be worn for more than 30 minutes at a time. If you wish to continue your love making for longer than 30 minutes (you lucky ladies!!!) then remove the ring and continue without it for the remainder of your play time.
3 – Always remove before Sleep – Do not, under any circumstances, allow your partner to fall asleep with a Ring on his penis. constricting the blood flow for prolonged periods of time is not a good idea and can result in a visit to the emergency room. So always remove before falling asleep.
Other than that, slip on the ring and away you both go …
